Jalan2 makan... pastu.. GEMUK!! urghhhhh

welll .. its been a while i didnt treat myself with good food... (welll ... got to lay off tony romas, chilis.. italianies.. for a while maybe for a year... ) i need to stabilize my monthly cashflow!! urghhh i hate seeing my account condition... last weekend.. i really had a blast! treat baby at satay Vs. Pizza in Kota kemuning.. then off to gastro-tour at taiping!!!

Satay Vs. Pizza

start ngan satay.. 10 cucuk... for rm7.00 which is slightly above the normal rate (but hey... the restaurant is sooo comfy...)
anyway, if you are not 'that' hungry, this portion of satay is enuf to feed for 2!
the kuah kacang not too sweet, its perfect!

next, we opt for the pizza (what la if the kedai named satay vs pizza.. you should try both). :)

we opt for pizza mexicana.. with beef and 'cili padi!'. I just love when they try to mix anything with cili padi.. i fancy spicy food (but i cant really stand them... *teheee *teheee)

the pizza was PURRFECT! ... and its price at the normal pizza rate (so if you got the chance to get a non-fast-food chain pizza...

the cheese... you can see the beef pepperoni.. sgtlah byk.. and yummy (mind you i just ate 2 slice! miahahahahah) it is sooo tasty!! tak rugi membeli.... :)... lastly for the desert.. i choose the bana fritter (was wandering if its any better with treats banana fritters.. ) mmg tak sesedap... treats....

journey to taiping!!!!

one evening.. abg pejal berkata.. "nak ikut gi taiping tak?".. without any second thought on the invitation i almost jump.. (kalau lah tak sedebab sekarang.. they would noticed.. miahahahha) the journey to taiping starts late.. baby went to telekom mende lah.. to hear some business presentation.. with erol... kami gerak at approx 1.30 pm... the journey took us about 2 and half hours (mind you i naik jet!! miahahahahah biasalah ngan kuasa V-power).. abg pejal bawak kete 160km/j... tak takuk la sebab tak rase (maybe mcm ni lah schumacher rase x3) kekekekekke

first stop.. ke rumah perantin... they have already starts packing when we arrived.. (weh.. baru kol 4.. how come.. but then again.. there's still food for us!) for rm5/head.. theres ayam goreng/ayam masak merah/daging kurma/daging masak apa ntah mcm sambal ada kicap dendeng-like and sedap/plus kual dal!!! whut!!!! mesti tak dapat byk camni kalau kat KEMAMAN (well i just realised.. makanan di kemaman sgtlah mahal!)

next stop.. to kedai mi udang di port weld ... oh gosh.. there are soo many kedai mi udang here.... (sroottttt.. there goes my sinus!) .. oh before anything let me introduce to you the troop... there's abg pejal, kamil, baby, abg yee, abg adi, kak ngah and her husband abg shukor...

mmg best... you can either eat the udang.. or the mee udang.. in which.. both of it SGT lah sedap... mmg berasa! so if you ever come to taiping.. dont forget to taste this evertasty mee udang!!! :)

kad untuk majlis umah kemaman and umah kelang... phuh.. jenuh gak nak menyiapkan kad ni.. hiks hiks... but well bila lagi nak rase melipat kad kawen kalau tak sekarang (kawen cuma sekali.. adik kawen cume sekali.. cousin kawen cume sekali... anak kawen hanya sekali.. cucu kawen hanya sekali... erkkkk!!!!!!! tidakkkkkk!!!!! take my advice.. when you can simplify the work.. do it.. too bad our printer tak melipatkan for us! haih!!!!

wedding favor

well... i have a lot.. and loads of thing i want to write about.. hiks hiks but let me start by saying!!! yay!! yay!!! the cards have been sent for printing, the banquent hall favor have been decided.. and whats important is that we managed to cut the budget to almost 1/3 of the original plan.. talk about being savvy! i know its very hard nowadays to find a perfect wedding favor that looks elegant yet afffordable. The thing is with malay wedding... is the volume! everything has to be big and extravagant! aiseh... wish i was a superstar rite now.. so i dont have to buy me own wedding dress as everything is being sponsored by some designers... btw... this is my first tailored designer dress.. hope it will turn out very very extremely fine... or salikin sidek will definitely need to answer for it...

kelas mengaji Al-Quran, kursus kahwin and HIV test

hiks hiks... i m searching for kelas mengaji Al-quran.. i need to read the Quran in front of a teacher hiks hiks so that he/she can correct me.. whenever i'm wrong...

so far i have found a person in sek 7 who is willing to teach.. will check her out later this week... (need to remind baby to meet tok imam.. nak book time kahwin.. :).. and asked him to witnessed my majlis khatam Al-Quran)..

tomorow, we are going to bangsar to attend the marriage course (its a must!! and at the end of the month.. we are going to do the HIV test) hopefully everything is ok! and i am planning to do the talasemia test as well!

aaa... will need to ask papa to sign few borang! urghh... i always find it hard whenever i have to deal with parents!!

anyway... we will siapkan the wedding card as well (60 days to go!) haih.... i will be his soon.... very soon... property of '7'

baby... saya arrived in bandung approximately 1150am.. it was windy... thus the landing wasnt taht very pleasant... i didnt have any problen at the immagration .. but the airport authority (kastam kot) wasnt that friendly! takuk pon ada tadi... but alhamdulillah.. they didnt even bother to open and check my luggage!

oh by the way... my bag-polkiedots sudah kotor!!! i am definitely not happy!!! the plane cargo must be very dirty!

i am sorry i forgot to bring my cellphone! but i managed to borrow from daus! nasib baik! i cant find my old sim card.. so i bought a new one in bandung! and its cheaper.. it cost my rp20,000 for a new simcard! can u believe that! last time i bought the card for rp55,000...

i will post some pictures later... but for now.. i think i am in need of a serious showering.

Low-cost carrier AirAsia, has implemented a new baggage policy effective today.

Dubbed Supersize, AirAsia pasengers can now choose from three tiers of baggage sizes when purchasing tickets online. For domestic flights, customers can cahoose from Supersize Regular for up to 15kg of baggage and pay a nominal sum of RM5, Supersize Medium for up to 20kg at RM43 or Supersize Large for up to 25kg at RM80.For international sectors, the charges are RM5, RM55 and RM105 for Supersize Regular, Supersize Medium and Supersize Large respectively, it said in a statement today.“With the implementation of Supersize, customers no longer have to pay the checked-in baggage handling fee of RM5 per piece of luggage.

“This means passengers who opt for Supersize Regular can check-in more than one piece of luggage but only pay RM5 as long as the total weight does not exceed 15kg,” its regional head of commercial, Kathleen Tan said.

She said a similar baggage policy had previously been implemented for AirAsia X flights with rate revisions for its Supersize implementation.

Tan also said from today, Supersize Regular for AirAsia X remained at the previous rate of RM20, while Supersize Medium and Supersize Large now cost RM55 and RM105 respectively.Meanwhile, the over-the-counter excess baggage fees remained at RM15 per kg for domestic flights and RM20 per kg for international sectors, she said.

“There is also no change to AirAsia X excess baggage charge of RM20 per kg on all its international sectors, except for London Stansted, where the charge is RM50 per kg,” Tan added. — BERNAMA

as a LOW COST carrier... air asia is no more low cost! considering all the hidden charges u have to pay!!!

well i guess... if you just want to travel light than its ok.. maybe for a holiday... but to serve the other purpose of travelling... airaisa is not the best choice after all.. plus all the hastle to go to the lcct terminal.. and it will be worst when you have to travel all the way to labu!!!

day 1: january 5th 2009

8.20 am : we board the AK6292 (airasia) to langkawi... hiks hiks thanks to najmi.. penat2 pindah rumah pon still tolong hantar ke LCCT... had breakfast at the mcdonalds.. and off we go

9 am.. we arrive early in langkawi... aaaa baby plak rasa his jaw hurts during landing... its all because of the pressure and the blocked sinus... ahaks went to pick up our rented van.. (uuuuu... a nice clean serena..) nasib baik contact baby .. so we get to rent the serena @ rm105 per day...

arrived in langkasuka resort.. t'was okay... and clean.. but the front desk need some improvement...

since it was still early for us to check in.. we went to kuah town.. for a brief walk.... and we had lunch at pantai chenang....

oh yearp.. need to write here.. all of us was too exhausted to go anywhere on the first day.. baby hurt his back while helping me cleaning up no.9... we left our house for renovation actually!

8.00 pm.. we off for dinner... well it is very hard to find good restaurant in chenang... or maybe.. we are not lucky enough in finding such place! the dinner wassss ... alrite.. altho i think... they are too slow.....

off to bed very early that nite....

day 2: january 6th 2009

aaaa..... its 6.00 am and mommy dah siap2 mandi.. and she woke us up for the subuh prayer!! me, iza and mommy share the same room, while baby and apis enjoying another room for themselves.

Day 2 breakfast: kekekekekek the breakfast was superb!

8.40 am - 2 pm :thiks hiks.. its ISLAND hoping day!!!! ok... thank you for the valuable info from baby! that the trip would be enjoyable.. and believe me.. it was!!!

i actually not afraid of the deep sea.. thanks to baby!!! ahaks.. altho.. i never stop praying in my heart.. kekek hoping for a safe journey... first stop! pulau dayang bunting!!! omg... a must go places in malaysia.... next... we went to see the eagles.. and finally.. a trip to pulau pasir basah.. ke beras basah... we arrive back at the hotel approximately 2pm

2-3 pm.. lunch " restoran hj ramli... one word!! PEDAS!!! omg... i almost fainted! kekekekeke

4 pm... a visit to the loaf!! wuhoooooooo best best... i must say.. i am very impress of tun's business... not too expensive!! and i would suggest everyone to come to the loaf!

8.00 pm.. we had dinner @ the hotel... not a very pleasant thing happened... a rude waitress incident ruin the trip.. and we hit the karaoke bar afterwards.. while waiting to pick up kak ni from the airport..

10.40... kak ni arrived! yay! adhwa is here!!! yay!!!!

12-3 am... a game of gynrummy!! or jeremy...

day 3: shopping day! NOT!!!! we spent the day.. at the cable car!! hiks hiks haih... to fulfill baby's dream of scaring me to death! huh! dream on baby.. dream on!! I survived! muahahahahahahah

dinner at USSR... i love the restaurant! i love the food!!!

day 4... kekekekekek packing lalalalalallaalla and shopping and packing and shopping.. and we had the most delicious nasi ayam in langkawi... kedai pak haji ya!... mmg pak aji suko!! ahaks

mommiemonstah ordered two whole chicken for us.. and we finish 'membaham - since there is no such words to describe the eating action'

its the last day of 2008

... my new year entry... due to some technical error... here it is

well.. its those time of year when we look back to all the good and bad things (ehem) that had happened.. and those that we are very much anticipate to be happening...

i have had soo much fun this year... and a very weird year too..

i was engaged in April 26th 2008... aha! the ceremony went very well except for my dress... (it is badly done by the tailor.. in which i will never ever ask them to make my dress ever again!!)... the thing is... it was given and handpick by baby.. and i love it soo much.. too bad.. it doesnt turn out the way i want it to be.. anyway, i was relieved.. i was and will always be thankful for the love we have... i just never imagine that i somehow will be settling with baby... it is love at 4th and 5th sight! ahaks... i am sure its not love at first sight... but hey.. one thing i learn in life.... you will know when you meet your soulmate... no courting or whatsoever.. just a mere feeling that telling that you belong to somebody...

May 1st 2008, i was on a one week trip to jakarta... attending the cigre conference... and baby's family was also there.. went to bandung with kak nor and umi.. and abah and baby... i really like jakarta... (except for the macet.). and i like shopping in bandung.. altho i wasnt much into the casual clothing... i was enjoying buying all the telekungs... and baju kebaya!!

adik gave birth in July 2008 to 4 cute kittens (the twins, joey jr and snowy) i lost two of them.. joey jr and one of the twin.. and now i am a proud owner of abang, adik, comot and snowy...

July 19th 2008, Muhammad adhwa afeef was born!! a very healthy lovely hanslem baby boy.. and i love my nephew soo much!!...

in september, we went to jakarta to visit abang (ehem.. NOT!) we were there buying our wedding card.. we manage to bring back 70kG of wedding items.. without being charge a single cent! aha! how did we do that!! (lots and lots of energy!! ekekekekeke)

farewell to 2008!! and i actually cant wait for 2009... the year that i will start counting days... for my wedding.. ahaks...

. we cant buy back respect .. and we certainly cant buy time... valuable lesson i learn this year... that we need to appreciate all the things we have before it all gone..

I am off searching for my family accomodation this coming april. I have found 2 apartments near kemaman.. But both located in kijal. First stop, apartment baiduri near awana kijal.. Well I have no comment on the venue. It is located near amenities and restaurants.. Which is good.. Next stop, kijal strawberry park apartment resort. When I first saw the apartment, it suits all the requirement that I need. But then to my avail.. The resort is closed due to bankruptcy! Ahahahah that explains why the resort looks empty from far. Ekekekek haih.. So I will continue searching.

this is a response to yesterday's news... come on mak datin!! does the title Datin gives you the right to be soo arrogant!! in this time of distress.. i do think that the mak datin should just be thankful.. that only her house that had be taken back by The Almighty.. not her life!!

oh btw, what happened yesterday was.. there's this mak datin OVERHEARD the fellow armymen who was there HELPING the victims.. talking to themselves saying 'its stupid to build a house there!'.. IT IS STUPID!! when you already knew that the place is very landslide prone.. and that this is not the first time!! .. logically it is stupid!

cicakman disaster!

i could not believe how CHEAP the movie was! everything.. i mean EVERYTHING looks cheap!! I am telling about the cicakman's set, the CGI (ni kene tipu dek omputih), the make up artist, cinematography.. i am definitely absolutely flabbergasted!!

its just a waste, when the talent casted for the movie was giving their 110%.. shukri's hashim acting was very convincing.. thankfully.. apek's comedic scene was all the help that the movie can get..
and at one point during the movie, i wsa already loosing my patient (i dont know.. how to enjoy the movie.. when to laugh... when to smile.. ahahaahah i just felt dumb!).. the story is too dragging and i think one word to describe it best!.. IT LACKS OF INTELLIGENT!!!! the evil plot wasnt that evil.. the storyline was shabby! the villains are nonsense...

macam org malas buat kerja.. cicakman 1.. was far more better than cicakman 2.. the movie just degraded the cicakman high expectation status,,

i should have opted for doraemon the movie instead!

oh oh!!!... ANTooFIGHTER is much much more worth of watching than this piece of crap.. and LOS n FAUN is in their own league.. go and watch LOS dan Faun..!!

let me tell you what happen in my hood and not anywhere else.. i figure.. we are very used too of living together.. the indians does not feel that they are slaves and the chinese are not intimidated by the 'ketuanan melayu'...

my indian neighbour.. he parks wherever he likes.. except infront of his house (yerp.. as crazy as it sounds.. but its the truth... ahahahahah)... my chinese neighbour.. they have 5 families living together.. and the chattering starts as early as 4 am.. (they are fishmongers.. that explains the early hours)... umm i suggest theresa kok should come knocking at this people's door before asking my bilal to lower the morning sermons..

YET... we never complain or drop any threat letter too our neighbour.. asking to park their car sumwhere else or.. lowering the early morning noise...

BUT sumhow.. at the other side of Malaysia... where the-race-who-cannot-be-name are too intimidated (keep insisting that penyata razak allow them to have their own education sheesh... asking for leverage on the human rights .. now that is funny... i really dont see any the-race-who-cannot-be-name being bullied nor being mistreated.. asking the rights for islam to practise yoga (aha! this is a revelation ... ummm kekekek now this is overboard...)... haih.. funny funny people...

I am d one and only female engineer now! its not a new feeling tho! but then again... a mature-professional-female-companion is good! and i am okay to work with anyone... ( men or ladies and i hate saying that i work better with men.. kekeke its sooo lame) as long as they can act professional enough..

life is good in APS... as i always said.. i love being here.. altho.. i usually feel like screaming when it comes to dateline!

i read too many disturbing news this morning... INDIA is under attack.. (huh.. blaming on the muslim extremist.. ) .. suvarnabhumi is closed (and poor bos is stranded ... ) and yerp.. heard news from my sister.. abg's nephew is terminally ill... (both of the kid's kidney no longer functions).. haih... it has shrunk into the size of a 50 cent!... Ya Allah.. i could not ask more than your mercy to aiman.. soo if any of you out there reading this post.. do pray for aiman's health.. and he is only 5!

I guess we are lucky enough.. rain and floods.. nothing that we cant manage at the moment... ahhahaha with all the clown politician.... glad that us malaysian.. talks louder than action.. since it is very hard to find 'how to' sites on making the bunga dip in malay... i finally found a websites that shows how to make the q-dip flower (however.. it is a foreign websites..)

yusuf estes wa brilliant...

Alhamdulillah.... we've made it to yusuf estes talk on 'why should we believe in god'... interesting topic huh!.. ! seriously.. i really like the way he convey his da'wah.. hiks hiks.. baby and i are planning to go for his next lecture!

hiks hiks before that... baby had the courtesy of showing me around UM... well i got to see where's my baby had his kayak training.... his college... Kolej tun ahmad zaidi...UM library (uuu i'm soo impress with the library!!! i could spend days in that library!! oooo there goes the geek in me!)

anyway.. i really had to comment on the organizer tho! it is really sad to see that the Persatuan Mahasiswa Islam UM is not up to the standard of bringing along the Universiti Malaya name..

i guess they need to mix around with the 'outside society'.. learn to speak proper simple english (ehem.. hiks hiks.. i do have grammatical error!)... learn how to organize an international talk... hiks hiks.. and learn how not to repair you windows media player setting.... and show it thru the projector to the audience while the speaker is starting to gave his speech!! u people ar ridiculous!!

I have had a good hunched when i saw his candidacy speech sumwhere in september! i was in abang's living hall in JAkarta! i saw him on the telly.. standing there.. and he was soo convincing!! ahaks.. and today.. he is the first black american to be the president of the United State of America,... congratulations president obama!

i'm living in history... the computer, mobile phones and obama! hiks hiks anyway.. i am not really hoping that he would make a 360deg change to american policy! but i am hoping.. (with a slight wish) that atleast he could release the x-ray camp war detainees which american had held captured for sumtimes and finally shows us that there is still glimpse of hope for war-free united world!!

anyway.. malaysian prime minister.. has won his place.. without even an election! ekekeke that is somthing to be wowed at!!!!

new resolution!!!! 20 pounds in a month!!!! I can do it!!!! I am weighing at horrendous 140lbs!! i am FAT!! i gain 40lbs over the years! and i think loosing 20lbs in a month is manageable and achievable!!! *teeheeee

again my main problem is that i am lack of motivation.. so here's something i've think about to MOTIVATE meself!!!

1. That DRESS costs you RM1500 (yeah i know.. its not that expensive for some of you!! but hey RM1500 for a baju kurung is a LOT.. SO... while it last!!! PLEASE DO LOOK GOOD IN IT!!!!)

2. REMEMBER your LIFELONG RESOLUTION!!! TO LOOK FANTABULOUS AFTER you get married.. instead of BEFORE!! (i have always wanted to look like a sophisticated mummy .. and being single is a license to look comot and busuk and all ahahahahah)

so here's the plan!!
1. lemonade cleansing!!
2. softball training regime ( i always finds this works for me!! leg raise, star jumps and push ups)
